Uploading documents, and completing Aadhaar e-KYC, then submit the printed form with documents to the local office for verification.

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Go to the official website: shadianudan.upsdc.gov.in. This is the government-authorized portal for both Kanya Vivah Yojana UP and Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana.

Here you can start a new application, check eligibility guidelines, upload documents, and track your status online.

Step 2: Start New Registration

Click on “नया पंजीकरण” (New Registration). You will be asked to choose your category (SC, ST, OBC, General, or Minority).

This is important because the scheme provides priority and reserved slots for certain categories. Once you select the category, the registration form will open.

Step 3: Fill in Applicant & Marriage Details

In the application form, enter details of the applicant and bride, such as Aadhaar, name, date of birth, address, caste, and income.

Then provide marriage details, including the date, venue, groom’s information (name, Aadhaar, age, address), and the bank account details of the bride or applicant for DBT transfer.

Step 4: Upload Relevant Documents

  • Passport-size photographs of the parents/guardian and the bride.

Tip: Ensure documents are clear, in JPEG/PDF format, and within the size limits set by the portal.

Step 5: E-KYC & OTP Verification

After uploading the documents, the portal carries out an Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification. You will need to enter the Aadhaar-linked mobile number to receive a One Time Password (OTP).

Enter the OTP correctly to confirm your identity. This step is important, as it ensures that only genuine and eligible applicants can access the scheme’s benefits.

Step 6: Submit Application and Print Form

  • Review all details carefully before submission.
  • Solve the CAPTCHA and click “Submit”.
  • Once submitted, the system generates a unique registration number.

Within 7 days of submitting the form online, applicants must visit their Block Office (for rural areas) or Tehsil/Sub-District Office (for urban areas).

They need to carry the printed application form along with the original and photocopies of all required documents.

The officials will verify the details provided in the online form with the submitted documents, and once the verification is successful, the application will be forwarded for final approval.
