Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of State (I/C) Petroleum & Natural Gas along with Shri Raghubar Das, CM Jharkhand launched Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana at Ranchi, Jharkhand on 19 October 2016. 7 LPG connections were handed over to the beneficiaries under PMUY. Shri Pradhan also announced that in next 3 years 23 lakh poor families will have LPG connections.
