Namo Shetkari Scheme: PM Kisan Portal Guide

Namo Shetkari Yojana

The Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana is a state scheme by the Maharashtra government. It gives financial help to farmers in the state.

The main benefit is ₹6,000 per year, given in three parts of ₹2,000 each.

The money is sent directly to your bank account in April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.

This scheme works together with the PM Kisan Yojana. You must be a PM Kisan beneficiary to get Namo Shetkari benefits. The scheme helps farmers buy seeds, fertilizers, and cover other farming costs.

The Official Portal: Your Gateway to Services

The Namo Shetkari Yojana does not have its own separate website or portal. The scheme uses the existing PM Kisan and MahaDBT websites for all services.

Official Websites You Need to Know

PM Kisan Portal

  • This is the main website for registration and checking status
  • All Namo Shetkari benefits are managed through this portal
  • The “Farmers’ Corner” section has all the important services

MahaDBT Portal

  • This website is used for various farmer schemes in Maharashtra
  • Helps with state-level benefit tracking

Why These Portals Are Used

The Namo Shetkari Yojana uses the PM Kisan database to find eligible farmers. If you are receiving PM Kisan benefits, you also automatically receive Namo Shetkari benefits.

The MahaDBT portal facilitates the tracking of payments and the management of state schemes.

Key Sections to Use

On the PM Kisan website, look for:

  • New Farmer Registration
  • Beneficiary Status
  • Farmers Corner
  • Payment Status

Step-by-Step Guide to New Registration

Please note that separate registration is not required for Namo Shetkari Yojana. If you are already registered for the PM Kisan scheme, you will automatically receive Namo Shetkari benefits.

Here is how to register for PM Kisan if you are not registered yet:

Step 1: Go to the PM Kisan website and click “New Farmer Registration”

Step 2: Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and select Maharashtra as your state

Step 3: Fill the application form with your personal details, bank account information, and land records (7/12 and 8-A forms)

Step 4: Submit the form and wait for verification by local officers

Step 5: Check your application status regularly and provide any extra documents if asked

Your application will be checked at the taluka, district, and state levels. Once approved, you will start getting benefits from both the PM Kisan and Namo Shetkari schemes.

Checking Your Beneficiary Status and Installment Details

You can easily check your payment status on the PM Kisan website. Go to the “Beneficiary Status” page on the PM Kisan portal.

Method 1 – Using Registration Number: Enter your PM Kisan registration number to see your status and payment details.

Method 2 – Using Mobile Number: Type your registered mobile number to check your beneficiary status.

The status page will show different messages:

  • “FTO is Generated” means the payment process has started
  • “Payment Confirmed” means money is sent to your account
  • “Pending” means your application is still being checked
  • “Rejected” means there is a problem with your application
